I went downtown this morning to make a deposit at the bank and mail a few bills. As it turns out, both the bank and the post office were closed. I couldn't figure what was going on.Then it dawned on me. Today must be the the day that Black Canary and Green Arrow are getting married. That's got to be it- because I can't think of any other significant event that took place on October 8th in history worth celebrating. Perhaps our nation isn't rolling in secular filth and Marvel blasphemy afterall.
So Happy Joining of the Green Arrow and Black Canary Day!
Let us all honor these two great Heroes who have given their lives to keep us safe from evil.

I can't believe I missed this! Now I need to buy a gift but what you get superheroes for wedding presents? Hmmmm.... ;-)

Don't diss on Columbus Day, less the Huntress or another Italian-American Superhero finds out. They might kick your ass.
Who is this Columbus you speak of? Did he have x-ray vision, a really cool plane and a utility belt, or super powerful strength?
