I tend to agree, JDB. If they are going to present Him (Captain James T. Kirk) to the masses- they need to be very clear about the message, lest they have thousands of Star Trekiologists blocking the doors to all the movie theaters with signs and predictions of upcoming and imminent doom.
However another part of me agrees with you too, Film Geek. Three years without a new Star Trek show or movie is three years to many. I'm psyched. I mean hell, let's take people's Bibles and all the Christian TV shows off the air for three f**kin' years and see what happens.

Well, it's purposely vague and open to multiple interpretations. Sounds like that other comic book you keep going on about, if you ask me.
Thanks for posting this, Elvis. And I think it'll be true doctrine. It's gonna rock!

I'm counting down the days!!!! I just have a hard time picturing Winona Ryder as Spock's mother. ;-)
Hot damn, did they cast Winona Rider to play Amanda?
Strike one up for the blasphemy category.
Oh yeah, and Ben Cross is Sarek. Mark Lenard is rolling over in his grave.
